Bethany and Alex
ethany has known her wedding colors— pink so light it's almost white with little touches of equally pale blue— since she was twelve. I know because she's my daughter. For years we imagined together the day she would grow up and meet the man of her dreams. Enter Alex, a man so right for her that it's hard to believe their story is not a fairy tale. The two of them complement each other as gracefully as lighter-than-light pastel pink and blue. While Bethany and Alex's love story was unfolding, our love story with hosting weddings at Pollard House was also unfolding, and the two stories merged on June 6, 2026. It was a beautiful day, a beautiful venue, and for Bethany and Alex— the beginning of a new beautiful story. We invite you to enjoy some of the highlights! After years of searching for the perfect space for entertaining a crowd in style, I was blown away by the potential and beauty of the Pollard-Nelson house. I shared my find with Troy and in September of 2022, our dream became reality. We purchased the stately historic home on the corner of Market and 7th in downtown Logansport.
We are thrilled to share our love for entertaining with the community of Logansport. I enjoy hosting all kinds of events, including weddings, dinners, meetings, showers, and parties. I love the challenge of turning friends' and clients' ideas into stunning reality. My husband Troy is a professor of accounting at Purdue by day, but by night he is a gracious host. We are both excited to serve and develop friendships in our new community.
